I am Dhananjay Hegde
A runner, a developer, husband to a lovely wife who is the founder, owner and a teacher at Tattva Hatha Yoga.
Some time towards the end of 2023, I started running initially as a prepartion for a trek in the Himalayas. Until then, I always thought running was not for me. I could not run for more than a kilometer straight. But, then, it started to grow on me. I liked it and started a training plan. Got inpired by a friend and a colleague, I participated in 10K event in March 2024. So, far I have run 2 Half Marathons (as on March 2025). I have detailed my running joruney here in this post.
I spend my free time reading books, watching movies, web series, playing Critket and Badminton. That is, of course, when I am not training for a run these days.
On the professional front, I started my career as an SAP SRM Techno Functional Consultant in Wipro Technologies. With over a decade of experice behind me, I have gained experties in various SAP technologies and modules such as SRM, MM, Ariba, Ariba Integration, ABAP and so on. Latest addition to this ever growing list are ABAP Restfull Application Programming, UI5, Fiori Elements, Web technologies such as JavaScript, React etc.

CloudPaths Inc (April 2024 - Jan 2025)
- Worked as a Senior ABAP Fullstack Developer developing procurement applications for a major US tech giant customer
- Gained experience in building high-performant OData APIs for data-intensive use cases
- Developed PoC to integrate Google Dialog Flow chatbot agent with Fiori Elements application
- Developed PoC to download high volume data from OData v4 based Fiori elements app to Google Sheet
NTT Data Business Solutions (Nov 2023 - Mar 2024)
- Worked as Technical Specialist developing Fiori apps and APIs for major German tech company
- Designed and developed Draft-enabled RAP Business Objects (Unmanaged, Managed) and Fiori Elements v2/v4 apps
- Developed Flexible Workflow Scenario for Industry-Specific Purchase Order app

- Worked as a Technical Specialist developing RAP based PaaS and OData APIs for S/4 HANA Cloud during the early days of ABAP RESTfull Application Programming model (RAP)
- Designed and developed 12+ RAP business objects for diverse procurement documents (e.g., Scheduling Agreement, Purchase Contract, Service Entry Sheet)
- Gained excellent udnerstanding of the framework, trained multiple teams on RAP development, helped build various PoCs as feasibility study and so on
- Enabled and implemented both In-App Developer extensibility and Key-user extensibility as part of product development and testing

- setup of Ariba integration with S/4 HANA using CI8, CI9
- migration from Ariba CI9 to Ariba CIG
- setup approval flows on Ariba, develop efficient customer master data extractors, enhancing existing extractors, streamline transactional data integration between Ariba P2O and S/4 HANA
